A good strong conversion funnel for each and every product or service you offer is key to marketing success. But so many businesses just have one global advertising campaign, with one main call-to-action that sends all their traffic to one landing page or their homepage. Don’t do that! There’s a better way, so let’s break down 7 tips on how to build a strong sales funnel and conversion funnel…

Tip #1 – Determine the best products and services you’d like to advertise. Then determine the best channels, keywords and targeting to get in front of the right people to market those things. We call this visibility. (Google, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pandora Radio, etc). Dominate both paid (TPA, STA) and organic (NLA, SMM, LLA) search and social.

Tip #2 – Create your ads and ad copy, make it exactly what the user is looking for / wants! Make it clear what they will get to avoid wasted clicks and money.

Tip #3 – Make your landing pages and call-to-actions exactly match the ad copy for each and every product & service you have. Build landing pages for each and customize heading and CTA to exactly match the ads. Keep above the fold on all devices. Use good strong CTA colors and messaging.

Tip #4 – Build trust – include social proof, reviews, awards on your landing page

Tip #5 – Make sure to setup retargeting on your landing page & ads so users that do not convert continue to be marketed to. Build a series of different ads that run at different times across all major channels.

Tip #7 – Once the sale is made and work is completed, ask for a review and a referral! If you can get a review or a referral from each customer you get, 1 customer is equal to 2! Double your ROI!
